Independent Expertise,
No Hidden Agenda
The value of technical consulting depends entirely on its independence. Here is how we structure our work to ensure the analysis you receive reflects only your project's technical and economic interests.
Technical Consulting
Without Conflicts
In the construction and energy sector, most technical advice comes bundled with a commercial interest — the architect has a preferred contractor, the contractor has a preferred supplier, the energy company has a product to sell. We occupy a different position: we are paid for analysis, not for outcomes that benefit a third party.
This matters particularly for new residential buildings financed through collective investment, where the investors funding the project deserve documentation that reflects the building's actual energy performance potential — not a specification that was shaped by supplier relationships.
No Equipment Sales
We do not install, supply, or receive commission on any heating, cooling, insulation, or renewable energy equipment. Our system recommendations cannot be influenced by product margins.
No Energy Sales
We have no commercial relationship with any energy supplier or utility company. Our analysis of energy consumption and costs uses publicly available tariff data and independent projections.
Documented Methodology
Every report we produce includes the calculation standards, software tools, and input data used. You can share our work with any independent engineer for verification at any time.
How We Work
A structured approach that moves from physical data collection through modelling to documented recommendations.
Data Collection
We gather plot survey data, local climate records, shading object positions, and the preliminary architectural concept. This physical data forms the basis of all subsequent calculations — assumptions are minimised.
Thermal Modelling
We build a dynamic thermal model of the proposed building using recognised calculation standards. The model produces heating and cooling load profiles for each design variant considered.
Economic Analysis
Load profiles are converted to projected energy costs using current and projected tariff data. Investment costs for different envelope and system options are compared against projected savings over defined time horizons.
Structured Reporting
Results are presented in a structured report format that separates calculation outputs from recommendations, allowing the client to follow the reasoning and challenge any assumption they consider inappropriate for their project.
